Importing Emails

You can import emails directly from Outlook Express. If your emails are in Outlook or some other system you will need to transfer them to Outlook Express before importing them.

To transfer emails from Outlook to Outlook Express:

  • In Outlook Express, click on the File menu and select the Import > Messages option.


To import emails from Outlook Express:

  • In the Email window, click on the Tools menu and select the Import > Outlook Express option.

  • Follow the instructions to create a folder on your PC. Drag the emails you want to import from Outlook Express to the folder you've just created. When you've done this, click the Next  button.

  • Click the Locate Folder button and locate the folder containing the emails. Click the Next button.

  • Select the folder you want to import the emails into and click the Next button.

  • The import program will calculate and display the number of emails to be imported. Click the Next button to import the emails.
