Step 1 - Users and Diaries

So much to look at .....  where do you start?

There are 7 modules:

  • Diaries
  • Contacts
  • Email
  • File Store
  • Tasks
  • Reminders
  • Notes

Most people start by deciding which module they want to launch when the application starts. To set up the Launch Window go to Changing the Launch Window in the Launch Window section of Help.

Then you can set up some user logons and the diaries those users will use. Only users with Diary and User Administration capabilities can do this. By default, the person who signed up for the 30 day free trial account is automatically given these capabilities.

To set up user logons go to Setting up a new user in the Account Administration section of Help.

To set up diaries go to Setting up a new diary in the Account Administration section of Help.

Having set up the diaries, you'll probably want one diary to open automatically each time you logon. To set up your default diary go to Changing the default diary in the Diaries section of Help.

Also, at this stage its a good idea to set up the diary display. This allows you to configure the start and finish time of the day, the time divisions and whether or not you display weekends. To set the diary display go to Changing the diary display in the Diaries section of Help.

Now you're ready to add your first appointment. Go to Adding an appointment in the Diaries section of Help.
