Formatting phone no's for SMS

If you want to send SMS messages you need to enter the contact's mobile phone no. in the SMS box. This field is used when sending SMS reminders.

NB: Omit leading zeros from the Country Code and Area Code.

Examples

(UK): 44 7733 123456 where the mobile no. is 07733 123456

(USA): 1 609 1234567 where the mobile no. is 609 1234567

Using Nextel in the USA

To send a text message reminder the email address should be formatted as follows where XXXXXXXXXX = phone number with no additional digits for the country or area codes.

i.e. xxxxxxxxxx@messaging.nextel.com
